During the period of development (1 year working with approx. 200 professional an semi professional musicians), our goal was to excel in 7 categories that make a great high performance string.

(1) Creating pure natural sound (great tone).
(2) To have tonal balance.
(3) To have an easy playing string (slinky).
(4) To have breaking resistance.
(5) To haveextended life (while maintaining tonal qualities).
(6) To resist residue build-up.
(7) To have sustain power.

Initially, we kicked around the idea of developing a high tech coating, but we decided not to, because we were not willing to sacrifice any tonal or sustain power losses.

So, to excel in these categories, the highest quality of materials were used along with other creative secondary operations. This is where we focused our efforts, utilizing an innovative proprietary process along with the highest quality of material. The development was done on a "Trial and Error Basis", utilizing quality feedback from the musicians and critiquing our process in the development of the high-tech quitar string line known as FireWire Strings.

The guitar string market is very competitive with a vast number of bands available. For the low to mid range brands the competition is fierce and it is virtually impossible to compete with the larger companies that can mass produce products.
